How is the India Post GDS 1st Merit List Prepared?
The merit list was prepared based on the marks of class 10 or High School Examination. Candidates who have highest marks will get the top rank in the list. The merit list contains a column of Divisional Head separately for each candidate. The shortlisted candidate has to report to the divisional head before 7th April 2025 for document verification process. The shortlisted candidates will be notified through the SMS or email on their personal mobile number and mail id.
After successful document verification process candidates will get employment on Gramin Dak Sevak i.e. Branch Postmaster (BPM) or Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) or Dak Sevaks post. Candidates are advised to prepare the documents properly before the document verification process.
